He's going to the fan convention. They clearly didnt sign Take to a new contract at WWE and he has the right under a legends deal to do fan conventions adjacent to other companies shows
Sean Waltman broke this down on his podcast a couple of weeks back when he was asked about what Taker taking indie bookings meant. Mentioned how himself, Nash and Hall would always attend autograph sessions for fan conventions tied with indie shows but not actually appear on the show
Only thing I could see this having an effect on now is if WWE starts restructing Legends deals to prevent from attends these type of conventions and I think they'd face a huge problem cause most retired guys make their money doing these type of shows

Pretty sure taker (or take lol) wouldn’t have booked this without Vince’s blessing.
Goes to show how little Vince thinks of AEW. Maybe if AEW had a tv deal in place with a network like TNT things would be different. If they end up on Pop or some other rinky dink network like that then they’ll always be looked at as TNA 2.0 ..
