The Wrong Side of the Tracks
This doesn't really qualify as 'underrated', but I haven't heard anyone from this coast talking much about it.

Cats that don't travel truly are sheltered. This whole shyt was :russ: and :whew: at the same time.....

Even went back to cop the original version of 'Janine' based off this CD.

I got to post this up. I don't hear too many people talk about this album. I did one of my graduation projects on them. I'm in Birmingham, AL but people was wondering what I was listening to. They could tell it was West Coast. This was like a perfect CD to listen to on a sunny Summer weekend.

Breh this is MY shyt RIGHT here. When "Summertime in the LBC" dropped I knew it was official. My favorite joint on the album is "We Funk (The G Funk)." Them dudes had the gangsta R&B vocals on some alternative Nate Dogg type shyt for the time. Man Warren G was on a fukkin roll from like 94-96 with his own music, Dove Shack and The Twinz. It was like he was the only smart one outta the Death Row camp who didn't sign a contract with them because they kinda slept on him and so he went to Def Jam (who wanted a piece of that West Coast action)
