game was a huge surprise for me. a fast paced action-RPG with the ability to switch party members on the fly:whew: battles were always hectic because of the speed of combat and switching party member and the fast paced and powerful music. great game to me man.

I cant explain how hype I was when Ys: Memories of Celceta got announced for the Vita a few weeks ago.

Still the best "space game" I've ever played. It still has a strong modding community till this day. You can still play it online...for free...even the bootleg version if you cop it off of a torrent site or something.

The guy who designed it and Wing Commander, Chris Roberts is in the process of making a new game, Star Citizen which surpassed its fund collecting goal on Kickstarter.

Chris Roberts' Star Citizen crowdfunding concludes at over $6M | Joystiq

Needless to say I can't wait for that game to come out, in the mean time, try Freelancer. You will not be disappointed. It still looks great even now. The most fun I've ever had in a video game was waiting outside of a space port for a cargo ship filled with extremely valuable space polymers to fly by, then ambushing them and then taking all of their sh!t, going to sell it all, by a more powerful ship and then venture off into pirate owned space. NEVER had more fun.

Low G Man for the NES, one of the few NES games I still love playing to this day.
