I’m not even an ice cube fan nor have I ever been since he parted from NWA,but AMW and Death Certificate are classic golden era HipHop albums. I bought AMW to see what it would sound like and what he had to say! Thought it was ok.Never bought another Ice cube album after that! Didn’t buy DC,but I knew it would be an album that nikkaz was waiting for to drop! DC is a classic album period! My homeboy had the cassette and the best three songs on it are, steady mobbin, true to the game and color blind! Classic posse cut that only true HipHop heads know,recognize and talk about! Color Blind is totally and ridiculously underrated like a lot of golden era HipHop. I bump the shyt out of color blind to this day in 2024! Real HipHop music tends to have longevity and color blind is one of those songs that’s carried its weight and the true essence of HipHop music through out the years! The Best Era in HipHop and the True Golden Era of HipHop 1984-1992 …Period
