Lame ass guerrero waits til the last round to bring the fight. Then wants to jump up and down like he was about it.



Can't front garcia impressed the shyt out of me. Dudes body work was vicious and set the tone. Was expecting struggle but he had an all around solid performance. I even had a line set up...."danny said he was gonna be a devil but he lookin like an angel. Don't even ask me how"




I'm not sure if I woulda seen it different on tv, but in person danny had some serious pop. danny just might be legit at welter.

Danny's pop is what separated the fight to me... Especially at the body.

Guerrero's pressure made it look like he was controlling the fight, but when he gets hit cleanly by a couple of Garcia pops to the body/head shyt puts you back on track.

Only thing I wish Danny had did was just go FORWARD.. To any casual it looked like Danny was the weaker fighter when he was honestly the talented fighter. I think Thurman had a better showing but that doesn't matter. Guerrero is a tough fighter and a great gate-keeper for nikkas trying to capture the crown at welterweight. Danny clearly had the talent but just didn't put it together until the second half. But even Thurman got knocked once or twice...

Thurman vs. Garcia is what I wanna see next, but if Garcia needs another fight at 147 to get comfortable I understand that as well

Jack Reiss is my least favorite ref. I thought most the holding was on Swifts end. Guerrero tried to bring it in side and Swift held to get the fight back on the outside.
Guerrero couldn't match Danny at a distance. The announcers kept saying the objective was for Guerrero to box more. Ironically Guerrero got out boxed and actually would have been more effective on the inside, where Danny isn't as skilled.

Guerrero fights dirty on the inside. People know that. Danny is skilled on the inside but why risking the inside when you can land easy shots from 10 miles away. Guerrero leads in with his head and is much stronger/bigger than Danny.


Hopwever, I don't see all that keyboard analysis when 97G fights though.

Rounds 1 and 2 could of gone to anybody, 3.4 and 5 I gave to Guerrero off workrate, then finally in the 6 Swift finally turned it on, he won the rest of the rounds except the final because he was mostly backing up and holding till the little furry at the end with ghost.

the 6th round was the turning point, the demonic shots swift threw took the fight away immediately from ghost..

Robert is now gatekeeper status at 147, he'll beat on B(struggle wins) and C level fighters,but any step towards an elite 147 he loses.

Might be fed down the line to Spence.
