My father didn't know his last name. My father got his last name from his grandfather and his grandfather got it from his grandfather who got it from the slavemaster. See this is why I appreciate dudes like Big Daddy Kane and Chuck D. As a youngin' they put me on to Malcolm through songs, which led me to another great man in the Minister Louis Farrakhan Muhammad Jr., which led me to knowledge of self, which led me to a free mind. Although I am not a Muslim I subscribe to many of their ways and apply to my life. I thank God for my REAL Muslim brothers.
