To be fair my cousin was a high level college basketball player around 50 and had a severe car accident he had to to have a hip replaced and a knee replaced in his 20s. You never quite move the same and had to get a cane because he was 6'9. I don't know if Shannon is gay but I can tell how badly his hips and legs are messed up and it can throw off your balance and gait.
