Some of y'all need to get off Uncle's back. He's fresh off the boat trying to make an honest living. Some people aren't built for flight or fight situations. They're gonna freeze up if they've never been in that scenario. He looks damn near 50/60... wtf do you expect? Those of us who have unfortunately been in these kind of situations know that most civilians aren't built to react effectively to this level of violence.

You ever see a clip of something (not necessarily violent like this) going down and all you can see or hear is someone screaming and someone else going "omg"? Those are the people who don't have warrior mode built in.

Will never forget, was at my sisters apartment and a grease fire broke out cuz she's a trash cook, and while my niece and goddaughters are screaming, she's plum stock still.

Doesn't grab the children, doesn't put the lid on the pot, just frozen.

Me? I remember I saw a fire extinguisher under the sink before, grab it, rip the box open and put out the fire, while she's still in the background playing statue while the kids are screaming.

Some people just don't have that "get it done" synaptic tissue in them.

Which is fine but makes them a total liability should things ever go left around them.

Don't be happy to be food out here breh.

All myself and others are saying is that if you don't have that "up n at'em" in you, you can't be counted on in a physical emergency.

Doesn't mean you're not decent, pay bills on time or anything.

It just means that when life takes a swerve or throws a left, you're probably getting clocked by it.

As a guy, you should want to have that mode on you. Not all do.
