He literally hates goldberg more than michaels . I dont even think he hates michaels anymore

:mjlol:
Doubt they the best of friends but they seem cool now and Bret don’t seem like the type to pretend

And if he did I’d doubt it would be for HBK

When Bret called HBK to the ring when he returned in early 2010 apparently that was unscripted

Believe it or not they used to be good friends irl prior to their rift in 96/97:wow:

He still always praised hbks work
But he straight up despises Berg
Obviously in the early to mid 2000s brets sitting here watching all these guys have career comebacks and matches and if berg never ended his career bret couldve had some matches probably.

One of the things I respect most about Bret is how he went through his entire career without seriously injuring one of his opponents.

Even in retirement he's using his platform to make WWE's work environment safer by calling out serial botchers like Goldberg and Rollins

Stay at their necks, GOAT. :salute:

HitGOAT giving OldTurd that work. :wow:

Bret is older than Goldberg is.....by almost a decade.

He did end his career. It’s understandable he’d be upset about that still.

Partly responsible, Bret wrestled after the kick (included a hardcore match vs Terry Funk) and that's what really made things worse for him. He wrestled Goldberg again the very next night on Nitro after the kick, so if he felt Bill was so dangerous and the kicked ended his career, why did he wrestle him again the next night, and continue to wrestle including the hardcore match I mentioned before? Bret even takes some of the responsiblity in his own book but now seems to be on a fukk Goldberg campaign for some reason. And Goldberg has apologized many times, and it was a botch, he didn't hurt the guy on purpose.

:mjlol:

Yeah, I don't think he hates Shawn anymore, he probably doesn't like him very much but the hatred does seem to be gone (or he's just pointing his hatred towards Goldberg now, LOL)
Imagine if Hitman never got injured :wow:

Would of got fed to Hunter in 03/04 with the rest of them :unimpressed:

LOL, You know Triple H would be getting that win, hitman would be eating the pedigree no doubt.

But that Bret/Shawn match in 2002 would've drawn HUGE.

Didn’t Bret continue to wrestle after?

either way i fukks with Bret shytting on dudes and giving his honestly and valid opinions. You don’t get that to often and when you do dudes arguments be trash and just biased

So hitgoat can say what he wants

Yeah, he had like 8 more matches, he knew he was hurt after the kick but like most wrestlers, he tried to work through it, and continued to take bumps and blows to the head which only made things worse.

If he continued, it means he didnt get a full evaluation. Austin continued for two years after almost getting killed at Summerslam 97.

Not the same situations at all.

Austin got hurt in August and didn't get back into the ring again until November, he saw like 3 or 4 different specialists and was looked at by the best neck doctors in the country before he was cleared to wrestle again. The WWF made damn sure he was ok before they let him get back into the ring. Not even close to Bret's situation he wrestles Goldberg again THE VERY NEXT NIGHT and continues to wrestle afterwards.

Plus the two injuries were not the same.

Bret bears some of the responsibility.

This is from Bret's book:

People with concussions are the last ones to figure out how badly hurt they are.

I was more responsible than anyone for downplaying my condition to myself and everyone else. I let myself go on believing that the problem was a sore neck.

I drifted through every day in a pale-faced, sweaty, head-pounding stupor, pacified to the point of numbness by the four Advils I took every three hours.

I sat in Dr. Meeuwisse’s office in Calgary. He noticed that I was slurring my words.

The doctor said, ‘I can feel a hole in the back of your neck the size of a quarter…’

He felt around the back of my skull.

‘This part here feels like hamburger. I hate to be the one to have to tell you this, but your career is probably over…'”

That just says he's not medically efficient at self diagnosis
