It was longer than I thought too, pretty much as long as normal, maybe a little shorter. (Edit: it was shorter checked my play time)

Just got to chapter 5 and i'm enjoying this a lot more than UC4. Pacing and balance between combat, puzzles and exploration is a lot better in this. And from a Metal Gear Solid hardcore fan i like that the combat areas are better designed for stealth like gameplay, the silenced pistol is a great addition in some of these segments.
Chloe is a great lead too and so far Nadine comes off as incredible likeable, I feel like ditching Drake is def a major plus for this and moving forward, if there were to be anymore Uncharted games, this needs to be Chloe's franchise. Crazy how Uncharted took wild inspiration from Tomb Raider, then Tomb Raider came back and took wild inspiration from Uncharted and now Naughty Dog bushes Drake and turns Chloe into a better Lara Croft than Lara Croft
Also, it's fukking with my head how they managed to top UC4 in looks, in the space of a year too, Naughty Dog must be offering human sacrifices in their studio to be able to do this shyt.

It takes a few years to make a game and by the end of it all they already had ideas of how to make the game better. Computer Animation and Game Development has come a long way from what it used to be. I see they kept the style pretty much the same though. It's just some of the rendering probably has improved a good bit since the last game. Plus now they have created the game to take advantage of the tech on the PS4 Pro. Knowing they could push a little bit more through that machine.
They could make it look ultra realistic (even though it looks great now) with the Animation software that's out these days, but the gaming consoles and computers wouldn't be able to push all of that information through a gaming engine and have it run smoothly to be able to play like people would like. So a lot of ideas that they probably have still didn't make it into this game even. It's just a wait on having gaming technology reaching that point to be able to do that.

I like this much better than UC4 as (1). It's shorter, so less filler. Doesn't outstay its welcome & (2) The ladies are much better protagonists than the insufferable Drake & co
