Thursday afternoon, the North Miami Police Department released a statement saying that officer has been placed on administrative leave. They have yet to identify the officer but they described him as a 30-year-old Hispanic male who has been with the department for four years.
According to Napoleon, the North Miami City leaders are talking to him about a cash settlement. “They want to resolve it relatively fast in a matter of good faith, to let the community know that they take these things seriously,” he said.

Unfortunately I worked at Jackson North and Jackson Main for 5 years of my career. Being in the ER I cN guarantee you this is not the first nor the last time all this ever happened. I have seen so many fukked up shootings by cops. One of the main ones I remember was when a latina cop shot a black man while he was on his knees with hands up and back turned. We all asked her why and her answer was "what if he had a gun in front of him" but what agonized me the most was that you'd black kid that got fukked up. Little boy was just skating with his other friends. Apparently they had several warnings of trespassing but they would just have a lookout to whistle so they could run when the cops come by.
The lookout failed them and he didn't get away in time. He got beat down, handcuffed and ended up with two broken ankles. The cops answers were "he was resisting and we had to make sure he didn't get away"
Sad shyt.
I also had an incident where we called the police for a guy threatening to shoot us and then they came acting like we were the suspects. Yelling and threatening us with arrests and shyt. I ended up talking to the guy and he said he was bluffing. The doctor then gave the guy 20 bucks and that was it.
I have heard em say these cops are mad because they don't get paid well and the arover worked. Like that's the people fault they chose to do this
