As much as I have a problem with Islam, in no way does anyone with a pint of intelligence thinks this person is a real person or even a Muslim. I'm sure he trolls by giving opinions of a minority of some extremist Muslims, but I think everyone understands he is a poor caricature.

The article also makes it clear that this is found in both Islamic and Christian subgroups, and in some cases, predates both religions.

Still, its important to bring this issue to the forefront, no matter where it happens. Our young males and females are being brutally cut for ceremonies and tradition. This has no place in the modern world.

No, because there are medical standards and practices boards in place, as well as malpractice law in most countries. What a fukking dumb ass comparison; comparing a procedure done by a professional with actual knowledge and schooling to ritual mutilation.

Male circumcision is backed by SOME of the medical community. It is not a unanimous thing. In fact, you'll find many doctors disagreeing with it today based on a consent issue; which I agree with.

On the other hand, Female Genital Mutilation; which is described very vividly in the OP, is backed by nobody of any repute in the international medical community.
