Whats the end goal here? :jbhmm:

No way he thinks he can do all of this and then just go back to buisness as usual right? :patrice:

One of you Coli exec's mind running the play by me here? Cause I dont get it. :mindblown:

And how exactly is he going to go indie when UMG owns Drake and his likeness? He jumps when they tell him to

He already showed you he has to bow down to his daddy Lucian when he released that 100 gigs of bullsh't for free and UMG took it down and he couldn't do nothing about it.

Isn't PND relevance wise, :flabbynsick: ? IMO its a bad idea to do a group album with a ice cold R&B singer after losing a rap battle this badly. We won't know if Drake run is over or not until he drops a solo album. I totally expect this group album to flop even if the music is good :mjlol: Drake should put the PND album on the back burner and release a solo album first.
As someone who wants Drake to fade to black, I disagree with this. PND is Drake's R&B pen and has been post-Take Care. This essentially, in terms of who gets the credit, is Drake featuring Drake.

After being dragged and being psychologically disassembled in the rap field, coming back with a solo album laced with braggadocio rap isn't gonna cut it. He's also too far gone (pun intended) in his persona to do the "can't believe I'm this high up" rap lane.

If it's about career saving, leaning into R&B for 2025 is his move.

This is what a guy winning for so long,he didn't bother with contingency B/C and is now scrambling to find his footing looks like. Even if they come to some sort of resolution, he played a major part in diminishing his own market value too. A new situation with equity will keep the money coming but the machinations that worked in his favor are gone, time to find a new situation and reset his public persona, the Mob Ties Drake needs to be out out to pasture, not viable as an avatar anymore.
