I’m not saying UMG is lying—I’m pointing out that their statement is their assertion, not something Drake’s team has publicly confirmed. The phrase “conceded the falsity” comes from UMG’s legal argument in their motion to dismiss, not a direct statement from Drake’s team.
So we can agree that Drake did in fact believe that the botting claim her originally made is false. (Since we agree, UMG didn't lie) That's all I need to know

I personally don't think Drake is any of these things, but it's absolutely ridiculous at this point to not consider it's at least possible :ld:
Why do you think that when all appearances are to the contrary?

Not exactly. Withdrawing a claim (if that’s what happened) isn’t the same as admitting it was false—legal teams drop claims for strategic reasons all the time, whether due to shifting priorities, evidentiary hurdles, or procedural advantages. That doesn’t automatically mean the claim had no merit.

Also, for accuracy, “conceded the falsity” is UMG’s wording, not a direct statement from Drake’s team. The lawsuit’s claims about artificial streaming manipulation extend beyond just that Twitch source, which is why discovery remains relevant. A single disputed piece of evidence doesn’t necessarily invalidate the broader claim—discovery exists to determine if additional proof supports it.

It's 2025, we got fakkits like Tony Busby making up allegations against superstar rappers trying to take them down. Drake has no charges from any "underage" girls. If anything I'm literally shocked there aren't random MF'ers filing lawsuits trying to catch a bag amidst all this shyt :francis:

Don't got accusations but we got numerous proof of him being inappropriate

Having a girl younger than you saying you're a fan of high school basketball and that's how she know you, that's enough right there

You sound stupid. UMG is going to push popular music because that's what they're in the business of doing. So if the diss track calling you everything but a child of God takes off, that's going to get pushed.

Drake isn't bigger than the program, and that's the root issue behind all of this - he thinks he's special.
the argument is that the songs took off because UMG used payola, etc to boost their initial popularity. Thats what trends are based off. They are saying the songs would of never got as popular as they did if UMG never used illegal purposes to push the song when first released.

If drake can demonstrate they promoted a song, in excess of just normal record label contractual release, suggesting that about him…then it gets…spooky
