It wants to stop labels from releasing or promoting diss tracks. It wants to force labels to censor artists over opinions and standard hip hop insults. Effectively, if successful, it would set the precedent that every rap diss track released from 50, Eminem, Pac, Nas, Jay, and working all the way back to KRS is legally defamatory and second degree harassment and should cease to be published or else damages need to be given to the offended party.
