Also, a Psy.D and Ph.D are very different degrees. Just because he submitted a dissertation, does not mean it was accepted. If it was rejected, that would explain why his name does not show up on the commencement list and why he is NOT a doctor. He could be a school psychologist with a Masters degree, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that. As for being a clinical psychologist, he needs to have his doctorates.
And to practice privately, giving consultations, etc. I'm pretty sure he would have to be licensed and not just certified. Umar Johnson stated that he was not licensed but did have his certification...

Psy.D is more clinical, Ph.D is more research/scientist track. But both are psychologist by any other name.
Umar has some wild ideas and an eccentric outlook to very basic concepts. I don't knock him, but its too much me...
