Having a pro-black family is the most important to help the black community, because you teach young black children about support black business, group economics, black pride, identity, and unity, black history, and most important passing down black wealth.

How do you think white supremacy lasted this long, because white parent teach their children of white dominance and white superiority, they did not teach it at the schools, it starts at home.

And I doubt Jim or Russel children are contributing or speaking out on black issues as they're fathers were.

Jim and Russel mostly spoke out injustice against blacks but they rarely spoke about black economics and black wealth building in which black people need right now.

Jim Brown certainly was about that group economics. He mentions that aspect of the struggle in various interviews when talking about inner city conditions and solutions. In one interview, he spoke about one of the most hurtful business failures was his effort with Richard Prior to setup production company and investment vehicle to combat white supremacist hollywood

Just to put things into perspective, Frederick Douglass made a famous speech titled "What to the Slave is 4th of July". Since Umar says he is a blood relation to Frederick Douglass that might explain why he picked the July 4th.

However, Douglass made his speech on July 5th. Ironically, Tariq Nasheed will be in Philly on July 5th for his Code of Conduct Tour. (Philly is Umar's hometown.)

I have no idea what either of them is up to, maybe it will make sense after the weekend.

I remember reading in Jim Brown's biography him "c00ning" for hugh hefner. In his book he said basically he felt like royalty as he got to part take in the finest white women and food at the playboy Mansion.

I've noticed quite a few men seem to be pro-black or equal rights in order to get access to white women. Bill Russell was married to (white) Miss USA 1968 and Kareem Abdul Jabaar had children with two different white women. Both Umar Johnson and Tariq Nasheed have two children with mixed race women. Their dating habits aren't any different than Clarence Thomas and Herman Cain.
