It was during his Instagram rant ...I don’t have the video tho sorry my bruhLink?
this isnt a hollywood studio block buster film. im sure tariq put up the footage of everyone he interviewed. neither of you are answering my question. WHY? explain why tariq would fly out, film 3 hrs worth of footage, then disregard all of it. without going into what hollywood film practices and all that shyt. what actual sense does it make?
There was an actual thread discussing what Tariq really meant when he referred to TS as "crispy".
When Tariq Called Tommy Crispy He Was referring To His Skin Tone
You will cringe reading some of the comments, I know I did.
I was just answering your question about why footage for ANYTHING would/could be shot and not used.
Sorry that you don't like the answer but that's it.
I don't know the nature of your side argument with the man you quoted, as to WHY or WHETHER certain things happened, but people sign releases for unused footage everyday....commercials, documentaries, feature films, tv shows, web series, etc
What am I suppose to be looking for? Tariq simply say he not nobody leader. He say not in the conscious community. He say black people need to know their history beyond being slaves. He say black people need to have a code of conduct like white supremacists do(Don't put a black person down for a white supremacist). He say black people need to create a economic base and practice group economics, get protection(stay strapped), don't be c00n, and replace the system of white supremacy with a system of justice. Other than that he a regular cool dude. I don't know why people painting him to be some perfect dude or something. Everybody disregarding everybody's else flaws and pointing out his so called flaws. Crispy talking all that shyt about black women and stealing money and shyt and y'all worrying about a nikka calling him crispy? Umar picked on people skin color and haven't showed recipes for the donations he got but y'all worrying about petty shyt about Tariq? Something ain't right. Y'all criticizing the only 1 of the 3 of them that actually do the most for black people. Y'all nikkas backwards
the context is here for anyone to read, its not hard to follow. im just trying to figure out how umar didnt know he’d be in HC.
if an actorsigns on to be on a show/film, signs the release, gets paid; how can they then act oblivious to the fact they were going on tv?
My whole thing with this is, if he felt disrespected about Tariq not telling him he was in the first movie, why would he appear in parts 2 and 3?
bruh you make no sense. why would tariq film him for 3 hrs and disregard all the footage? why? that shyt dont even sound right.
Pardon me. This is a long thread...I've only read the first and last pages.
What exactly is being discussed? Which of the men made a comment, what was it , and what part are you questioning?
link me to the vidFirst fam, you obviously didn't look at Umar's video or didn't throughly listen to it like @Y2Dre because Umar clearly stated (allegedly) that the first HC1 he was supposed to be interviewed for 2 hours but Tariq ended it abruptly after they met & talked briefly.
So not only do you have this incorrect, the 3 hour time frames you're referring to that Umar was interviewed for (allegedly) were both HC2 & HC3 .
Furthermore, no is suggesting that Tariq disregarded all the footage due to the fact Umar was evidently in all 3 HC's. However Tariq (or any other network/production company) isn't obligated (unless it is contractually stated) to put anyone their movie/documentary & they can scrap the entire interview if need be or they decide go another route because the network/production company has paid the person for the full rights of their intellectual property, which now they own.
Sorry, but I can't do your homework for you homie
So basically, everything that happened in HC1 that he was complaining about (receiving $500, Tariq allegedly acting standoffish, and not being informed his scenes would be shown in the film) is irrelevant since he went on to appear in two more Hidden Colors films.because him being in the movie benefited him
