Tariq was right but he didn't say the movie was racist. He said the original film was racist and the creator said it was it was based on Black folks. He literally said that. Funny how nikkas always leave out the real.
Breh, his tweet LITERALLY says that the NEW movie poster was being racist by using "racially coded messages"...:stopitslime:

You're wrong. He's clearly implying that this movie is racist.

Exactly. You put no man on a pedestal. People kill me with that that “I’m disappointed, this ain’t right, y’all better than this” stuff. No, human aren’t “better than this”. Every man has an ego and nobody’s perfect. If the fukkery turns you off then don’t get give it any energy and just on what you think is the positive. People who use this as an excuse to downplay it discredit the “conscious” message that their both known for are the ones to pay attention to.

That's the truth.

People are human and if this turns you off of black empowerment, that means you did not care about black empowerment in the first place.

Your not following the logic.

White supremacist fight each other all the time, even in the white house. But they understand logic and that is why white supremacy is still around

Black people who follow tariq and umar are saying they are not on code and they stop following both of them are missing the whole point.

Neely Fuller said you follow the logic you do not follow the person, because your looking for a leader, you are your own leader when you follow the logic:

People need excuses for why they arent doing something. If people were actually doing something they wouldn't waste their time talking about what someone else isn't doing. If people were actually doing something this thread wouldn't be 55 pages. You have 55 pages of people literally saying "these dues aint doing nothing" :mjlol:

Who dedicates time to people they claim are irrelevant and con men?

Thats like going to MLM meetings every time they in your town to say "Yall aint getting no money! :hhh:" vs being productive and not even acknowledging it.

:mjlol:

Not saying that at all. I’m saying that it would have to be a collective effort to build capital and negotiate for the best terms.

What cost are investors covering relative to the films budget? Any tax credits? What about domestic or international distribution rights?

A lot of these Hollywood producers are backed by major studios along with banks like Citi and JP Morgan bankrolling films as well.

For example Alcon Entertainment was co founded by two dudes, one is black.

They’ve put out movies like book of Eli, The Blind Side, and even the new Blade Runner film. One of their major equity sources is the ceo of FedEx who did a $550 million deal with them along with JP Morgan.

A step further with Blade Runner is that Sony put up $110 million and the film flopped.

However because of the deal the head of Sony negotiated, it’s expected Sony might actually recoup on its investment, even though the studio behind the film is going to lose money.

Equity is more than just a simple donation fam, you have to really go over contracts and negotiate for it.

I’ve never donated to tariq and haven’t seen any of his films but if people want a stake or equity in his work then you have to move like a business.
That's seen as a security. Most Blacks can't donate in those. But you can support as a donation which is what gofundme and other sites like them are. Black people and business :snoop:

You have a million in assets to donate in IPO/ICO's.
