YO!!! I remember that shyt! I was on the live Ustream when he said he was gonna go after Corey. He was salty af when he found out Corey wasn't behind that channel. Why would a TV-established comedian need to go after Tariq, who was nobody at the time?

For those who have been listening to Tariq for a minute, you know Umar has been taking shots at Tariq for at least the last 3 years. Tariq always tried to stay on code and downplay Umar sneak dissing but Umar wouldn’t stop.
The first incident I remember is a few years ago when somebody in Tariq’s chat room said Umar dissed Tariq by saying something along the lines of not getting paid or getting paid very little by Tariq for doing hidden colors. Tariq said he had heard the comments but he stayed on code and made it seem like it was no big deal.
Then there were several times where Umar made reference to “conscious pimps” (most likely talking about Tariq given Tariq’s ties to known pimps and the dating game) as well as people trying to pimp the community by making documentaries. Seeing as how Tariq has the most popular documentary it was most likely about him.
When the stripper thing went down Tariq defended Umar but in his analysis of the situation he jokingly said Umar was simping in his messages to the girl. I guess Umar didn’t like that and made a post on Instagram/Twitter saying that he was going to whoop Tariq’s ass. I don’t think Tariq ever addressed that publicy until today.
If you pay attention you could tell Tariq was feeling some way back when Boyce and Umar got into it last year because when people asked Tariq how he felt about the situation he said something about holding there own nutz cuz he had been burned by people before.
I could find links to all this shyt but it would take too long..

That school wasn't getting built the minute he said no gays can be at his school and girls will have to wear their natural hair. I gave him 100 bucks when he first mentioned starting a school. Once he laid out his ideas, I knew it was a wrap. He would've been in court more than being the principal of the school.
You talking about the school in south shore? The Muhammad university? That school been there. Over 50 years i believe.
The political landscape is way different now. I cant name one alderman that would give the ok for Umar to establish a school in their ward.
