I'll admit that I gave money once to Umar for his school, I don't regret it because my intent was good. I know now that there are legit programs out there directed at helping Black youth. Like someone said earlier, a lot of these "conscious" brothers are conscious of the fact that they can become millionaires touring the country, speaking truth, asking for money and then using it as tax write offs. When I saw that Bro Polight went to Whole Foods and spent 500 dollars on black chips and red kale and then tried to put all of those groceries into a Bentley coupe. I realized that they were "conscious" alright; heavy emphasis on the con. I just seemed like they saw what these preachers are doing and figured they could get a piece of the pie. I don't fault the attempt, we just have to be more vigilant in our study and research of Black history and what effect it has had on us today. I knew it was going to fall apart when they started to refer to themselves as the "5 masters" but Polight keeps bragging about his cripin' days and keeps bangers on his payroll bragging on camera about wanting to shoot people who challenge them.
If you write over 100 books you shouldn't you be able to enjoy the profits

...I look at it both ways,I see what you are saying but at the same time a lot of people expect these dudes to be broke and stay dusty looking....Anything else is a sign that they are crooked as if all they money should be going back to the community
That's true for these pastors out here more than it is somebody who's conscience, but I wish you would tell black folks they pastor shouldn't have a nice house or a benz,or they church is too damn nice

....If people are buying Umar and Polights "products" or paying them to speak that's not really community money and they can do whatever they want with it.
WHen you start asking for donations for 1 million dollars, you need to come through....So far Umar hasn't been proven to have done anything wrong with the money,if he buying strippers with his own money he's a hypocrite, but doesn't mean you donated to a bad cause YET,or that he's turning all the donations into bricks of 1$ bills
Umar Johnson just a regular ol judgemental nikka with a big mouth, far as I know he didn't take any kind of vow to be perfect....Personally I wouldn't donate to any of these nikkas shyt, but I appreciate the knowledge they kick on youtube, and that's worth something so I'm glad they getting money for that. Also I'm sure they've changed some black folks lives and mentalitys for the better
nikkas have spent they money on worse, and lighter shades of people who care about them even less

....I hope you didn't get conned breh, but if you did look on the brightside, the money went to a black man this time...which then circulated to black strippers
