What it came down too was that no one was in the shape Jerry Rice was in after that strike, breh.

He was just peeling through coverages. Damn shame that after all that work he got outshone by friggen Anthony Carter in that playoff game vs the Vikings. AC was in a zone a few weeks which rivaled Jerry
Probably the most underrated playoff upset in sports history. If im not mistaken, didnt it lead to an open competition between Montana and Young? That loss did end up catapulting them to back to back titles, though...

Moss scored 23 of Brady's 50 TDs

Brady was unanamious MVP

Yeah man Anthony Carter was the truth. The catches that people like ODJ make now AC was making back then. Dude was known to make the most difficult catches. He was an amazing WR and actually was considered a mentor for Chris Carter when he got there.

No surprise this the same Associated Press writers who wouldn't give Cunningham the MVP for throwing for 30 TDs and almost rushing for 1000 yards in the same season.
