I thought so originally since last season had a 2 hour finale. it might be different this season. I might have to update the post.
Marty The Moth is proof of what having a strong character can do for a wrestler. He loses more often than not but would anyone consider him a jobber? Is he not still a threat? Especially compared to a Bray Wyatt who loses to lend credibility to whoever beats him diluting himself in the process while Marty loses because he can't win, what will happen if a creepy b*stard like Marty wins?! Why can't he just leave Killshot/Fenix alone?! Why is he harassing poor Melissa Santos?! Is he and Mariposa a thing?! How is he going to behave next season with a shaved head?!
Yup, if you have great storylines and character progression, fans will focus on that over the "wins and losses".
