This ish only applies to people with antiquated ideas of traditional marriage, where the husband worked and the wife was expected to maintain home and children.

That's not a reality for many these days, especially the audience most likely to be exposed to her words.

Dudes today on average are way more involved in home maintenance and child rearing than their fathers/grandfathers were.

She's not talking to an audience of Japanese/Korean/Chinese women, she's in the west and while still very real, the patriarchal lines/expectations of society have greatly loosened in the past 70 years.

Probably has some decent options but feels they're beneath her. The only guys she wants are the men EVERY woman wants. She can't compete at a high enough level to get "those" men....so now, all men are bad.

If a man wants to date, smash and marry higher quality women (without paying, simping etc), he understands that HE must level-up his looks, income and game. Women are not wired to "level-up" themselves for a man. They might level-up by starting a biz or some other enterprise to increase financial independence.....but you almost never see a woman upgrading herself to find a higher class of man. They want the higher class of man but not enough to reach for him. They just want him to magically come to his senses and approach.
