Bader went for that shot from a mile away lmao

People like bader just arent meant to make it to title fights it wouldnt look right
Zuffa knew it to that's why they gave the shot to AJ even though DC and bader were trying to do business

So it will be Jones vs Fat c00n #2?

I wish A J could fight the c00n then Jones, would be more exciting.

Jones should fight Johnson, and the winner fights Cormier...

Johnson has a shot against Jones...Cormier is too short to box with the God, he had NOTHING for Jones in the first fight, and he cried afterwards...

And lost in the key way everyone knows to beat him. They can't sell that with Jones back from suspension.
The only way to beat Rumble at 205 is to be able to take a bomb to the face...If you can do that, then you can beat him...

Your game plan has to be "I am willing to take bombs to the face, and keep pressure and wear him out in the later rounds"...

It is NOT a successful game plan...Not too many people can take the shots that Cormier ate...

I don't disagree but fact remains that him passing Jones in line wasn't and isn't likely

ya that was fukking terrible, man. i mean, i get that sage was way overhyped, as much as they played into it, i think even most sage fans knew that shyt...so to see dude tap out in that position, that fast....damn. :scusthov: what a fukking derail. the guy got subbed and has been clowned for it left and right, by pros and amateurs alike. so it looks like all of a sudden that young, athletic, pretty boy campaign is done. :camby:

now, hopefully, he's actually gotta do something to earn his spot.

it's obvious he has no ground game, i doubt he even has a blue belt or has done any more BJJ than i have, the most very basic shyt to get you out of trouble in an MMA fight and quickly get back on your feet. you can't just power out of an arm triangle like he wouldve been able to previously in a guillotine or being in someone's guard or shaking someone off his back. he's only had a few MMA fights, 3 in UFC and a couple pro/amateur before that prob less than 5-10 fights all together. plus the jump to welterweight was too early, he wasn't ready for it at this level.

yeah he tapped early but it's because he knew NOTHING about what to do. that stupid kick he threw after the elbow missed was the problem that's what lead to the sub. he needs to train with a real MMA camp, NOT his father anymore (i think he was doing something with Tristar but was it a whole camp?)

the only people super hyped on Sage Northcutt were new fans who don't know shyt, same as the Rousey fans, the Brock Lesnar fans, same as it's always been everytime UFC hits another level of noteriety. there's new fans that don't know shyt about the sport and like a fighter because of hype or a win streak.

I think he is done...

If he was KO/TKO, I would give him a pass...But the experts are saying that he tapped out too early...In my opinion, that is HUGE...That is a "heart" issue...

I will be shocked if dude ever becomes a dominant champ...

You all are right, exactly and correct.

But fukk that. I'd have him beat DC (he has to know how to not fall for the wrestling traps that take ur wind by now )... then get beat down by jon
