Why does Pena jump Valentina?

(1) Pena has the longest winning streak in that division...

(2) Valentina already lost to Nunes recently...Let her beat one more person...

(3) Valentina can fight Pena for the number 1 contender, if Ronda returns...If Ronda doesn't return then I think Pena is the best candidate for Nunes...She beat Zingano who beat Nunes...

Holly, Miesha and Zingano are done at this moment...The UFC needs to use them to give other women more shine...Racquel Pennington needs to be given a chance to prove herself against one of these women...

Nunes is the easier fight for Rousey...Nunes is too aggressive, Ronda might catch her with of her silly looking punches and then break her arm...

I knew Ronda wasn't sh@t when I noticed that her eyes were closed when she threw the punches that KOed Bethe...I have also noticed Pena close her eyes when she punching wildly...

Ronda did beat some of those women DECISIVELY, but with a few of them, she was just lucky that her punch was the one that landed...

A patient striker who can maintain striking distance will beat Ronda...Ronda is not a wrestler and she is not a striker...She can be picked apart at a distance...She only looks for the takedown in the clinch, I don't remember her going for double or single leg (I could be wrong)...

If Valentina fights Ronda the way she fought Holly Holm...Ronda will be forced to fight smart...I don't think she knows how to do that...

(2) They overthink which leads to hesitation...

This is consistent whether they are winning or losing...Jones, Holm, Cowboy, Overreem, Arlovoski...All super HESITANT...
