Like I said they are so desperate for him to be the next UK star. Only time he’s looked remotely impressive was against Cerrone, who was physically overmatched and struggle against southpaws, and briefly dropping Masvidal.
I'm laughin at these "if Till woulda just opened up more!!" comments. Dude has always been one of the lowest output fighters on the roster; like single digit strikes thrown/landed per round low output at worst. And that was when he was erroneously considered a "dynamic, aggressive" striker before his B2B baptism from Woodley and Masvidal. That humbling has permanently changed him from Darren Till to Darren Chill at this point; man ain't ever going to open up and voluntarily put himself into any kind of serious striking exchange ever again at this rate

I don’t remember a single thing Romero did in that fight and outside two moments Gastelum didn’t really do much(and it was still somehow his best performance) Izzy has excellent footwork and head movement IDK where this poor defense narrative is coming from. And Costa is very hittable

well if the guy actually wants to win, especially a fight like that one, he's gonna have to start throwing.
on the surface, it like he's one of those dudes who likes to feint and pressure opponents into forcing them to react and do something. cuz those dudes wanna throw counter shots. till fights like that but without throwing anything back. maybe a left here and there. it's weird.
and the really fukked up thing is he's actually good at that...up until the point where he's supposed to make them pay. it's retarded.
