Lol how’s he a weight cheat because he’s tall? You can say the same about Holloway then
and anyone who cut massive amounts of weight for the reach advantage.
funny thing is, i dont think zabit cuts that much...he's just a tall goofy lookin mf from dagestan

:whoa:

vote on shamil for this next fight tho, he came out to DMX :dj2: where my dogs at

Yea he doesn’t have much muscle it’s not like he balloons after the weigh in. It’s just smart, someone like Cory Sandhagen about to run through bantam because of his height advantage too

I would feel much more confident in Kattar if this was 5 rounds. Zabit is an overrated weight cheat. The co main is a joke
Zabit doesn’t cut as much weight as people think. One of my homies rolled with him and said he wasn’t as heavy as he was expecting. He’s just incredibly tall and skinny. I’ve never seen anyone shoot an anaconda choke (where long arms help so much with) and have a lot of room left over.

I also really don’t think he’s overrated. I mean I think it’s fair to say that he might be overhyped slightly in comparison to where he is at this point in his development, but the skill set is absolutely there.

He’s genuinely going on there with a fairly loose game plan and even and trying new things on the fly. And he showed great ability to adjust too mid-fight after he broke his hand.

He’s got solid fundamentals on the feet and creative striking. He’s got a decent variety of takedowns from open space as well as from the clinch. On the ground he’s got good use of the knee-on-belly which is an underrated position. Nice back attacks and front headlock strangles.

I don’t know breh. In MMA you never know. He could end up being a bust. But he’s clearly a very talented dude.

Most of the Russian guys on the card are Avars from Dagestan, which is a group that has a strong Arab/Muslim history. That’s why a lot of ethnic Russians were supporting Conor over Khabib when they fought.

Ibragimov looked gassed as shyt, Herman is putting some tremendous pressure on him in the clinch and always coming forward.
The knees against the cage and the lowkicks are working wonders, he's getting the low kicks in during almost every offensive from Ibragimov

With Hardy's background you would think you would see more of his athleticism in his fights
