Grasso didn't fight an especially smart fight in general. Esparza was wide open for the exact shots she was rocked with in the first, and if she had shown her sprawls in the first she'd have probably ended it early. But beyond all that, you're right: you want to chase at the end of the fight, but don't actually chase when your opponent is on the verge of being knocked out?
Only thing I really got from this is that both fighters should leave their camps immediately, because they're not doing much for them.
Edit: Hate Esparza getting this win because she's never shown me anything, but Grasso and her corner really only have themselves to blame. As I wrote above: do your jobs and you probably stop this in the first.
