He made more than 160 million in that fight?
Nah it grossed a little over that in total revenue, I was just fukking around.
He did of course make more than the UFC in 2015 with the pacquiao fight.

How come Brock Lesnar Dan Severn, Ken Shamrock, well every UFC heavyweight champ pre Cain all did pro wrestling and mma? Pride started as having both pro wrestling and real fights on the shows in Japan. Far more of a parallel
Because....wrestling was at its height n popularity ? Pre attitude era? Attitude era? U serious breh?
And brock did wrestling before mma, he realized collegiate wrestlers were having sucess in mma so he tried it out and became a champ
Pretty good numbers. Does Dana draw a salary?
According to Forbes, Dana White currently earns a $20million a year salary. Other sources put that closer to $15million.
I'm a capitalist, but it'd be nice if Dana cut his salary and let his fighters get some of that. He's done a good job but 20 mill a year while you got the heavyweight champion of the world still working at the fire department.
For context he just got the title and wasn't a big name prior to that. A lot of it depends on where he was contract wise before the victory.I agree....but my personal feeling is that if you're good enough to be champion of a division, you should be making enough to totally devote yourself to your fighting/athletic career.
A quarter million shouldn't be too much to ask for every champion in the UFC.
I wonder how much no.1 contenders make when they fight for the titles.
No different than every other private sector job in this country.
Actually they are independent contractors, no?UFC fighters are both employees and the product itself, differing from most lines of work. It's clear that UFC profits derive from the underpayment of their fighters to a level even past WWE, as well as the 4 billion dollar company valuation. If the fighters had any balls, they'd present Dana White with a union contract the day of UFC 200.
