Overeem will bring in big money in the main event... especially a title fight... uncle dana claims he want nothin to do with overeem but in that press conference the other night he stated he thinks Overeem is still in the picture for title shot or something along those lines

How are you suppose to fight someone who drops to the ground when you flinch at them?

I dont see what that has to do with a blown up K1er getting constantly punched in the face by a jiu jitsu fighter. His hands looked like shyt too. His cardio looked like shyt too.

his 2 fights before that (rogers and duffee) he was this massive bodybuilder, then he came in against Werdum without a huge frame but a smaller one. this could be a reason for him looking like shyt that night (laying off the juice), not Werdum falling to the ground, Reem did good in that aspect because he stuck to his job.

This also goes for people saying Werdum held his own with him standing to show his standup isn't that good. Overeem was fighting extremely cautious of Werdum's grappling after Werdum tapped out Fedor and was more prone to Werdum's punches

Werdum tapped Fedor from bottom, not after a takedown, and Werdum is not a wrestler with a threatening power double leg or anything like that, the only caution Reem needed to show was to avoid tie ups and not to follow Werdum to the ground. everything else i dont see an excuse for except he aint as good without all that top notch drugs. plus, on that level, how many times should u get punched in the face when u have to worry about the ground? howd Cain do against Nog? Junior against Cain?

Werdum had nothing for Overeem and fought like it.

Cain has 9 KO's in 10 wins, Reem got blasted by Werdum and stayed awake but Cain would crack that unreliable chin much harder, and would have plenty more opportunity than FW to do so.

Cain wont be able to take Overeem down and keep him there like he did Big Foot. Overeem will KO him in the clinch if that fight ever happens

shouldnt we assume Reem will be closely watched and only allowed to fight when they are 100% sure this known roider is not roiding anymore?

theres plenty of reem without roids footage and a lot of it is bad, he is a Pride antique and l saw him get destroyed plenty of times. the only thing really keeping that hype up now is he took the hype of the big blond turtle with diverticulitis and no heart to fight (under suspect circumstances that is).

so imo a fair fight with Reem vs the top 5 ends most of the time with Reem , but like someone said, who knows if he can get a ''doctors'' note for TRT? he might be needing TRT very soon (or now) regardless. and in that situation he might be a nightmare for Cain.

If you actually watched the fight you would see why he couldnt get a rhythm Those punches did NO DAMAGE and when Overeem would return fire Werdum dropped down on his ass you respect that bullshyt?

Werdum is the BEST NO-GI HW Grappler in the world. You think he only works on his guard pulling skills and no wrestling? Nog despite his BJJ credentials is a Boxing 1st fighter so you will see Nog get knocked out like a MAN instead of butt scooting like a bytch to survive a fight

His 205 record has a lot of Losses but all to top 10 middleweights at the time lets not act like he was fighting scrubs

Now lets not act like hes the same fighter he was back then. Hes a totally different fighter now and hes only been hurt ONCE in his HW career( Roids dont help your chin). Like i said if the fight ever happens he finishes Cain in the Clinch.

i dont respect werdums strategy, he was trying to win the lottery twice in a row. it was a bad fight for both imo, werdum looked worse but both showed cardio and offense.

acknowledging 1 weakness dont clear him of all advantages. PED's > a bad chin, if the strength/speed/endurance/pain threshold of a drugged out Liddell for example is too much for there drug free opponents what does it matter. Weak fighters increase their chances of winning as a weak, and whatever natural flaws his opponent has in any area will not be assisted with drugs in 5 others, the playing field is way off.

but so far theyre forcing the reems and sonnens to get punished and come clean or not fight, its more likely he comes right next year (or not at all) and the drug free Overeem can't hang.
