I just don't understand the gameplan. Why stand with her when you're the bigger, stronger fighter:dwillhuh:

She looked like she was being too cocky not respecting Pena striking until was too late and she felt her power lmao her whole look changed up but it was too late
It's what Cyborg did to her. Both thought they could walk thru punches that they couldn't. Nunes quit on the mat though.

Where the hell was Nunes blocking?:mjtf:Just gassed from taking them punches to the face and gave up her back:dead:She legitimately just quit:dead::dead::dead:Pena took that win all the respect :ehh::whew:
1) Nunes has been fighting at 145 and maybe the cut back to 135 + Covid hurt her stamina + punch resistance
2) Juliana is legit crazy and little to no fear of anything (she got into a fight with a bouncer at a bar and kicked him in the nuts), she was probably the only fighter not intimidated by Nunes
3) Juliana has the best stamina + chin the the division and Nunes was probably shocked that she couldn't hurt her or tire her out on the ground.
4) Juliana's string is so unorthodox it probably caught Nunes off guard like Mayweather vs Maidana.

I'm a huge fan of Pena since she won TUF as the last picked fighter, I'm happy to see her win the title, even if its probably not long lived.
