as dope as that ko was, doing shyt like that was why cody got ktfo his last 3 fights. obviously he chose to do it a better time this fight, right at the buzzer, and against a guy who doesn't have the best hands...

but when he starts loading up and getting wild, he ends up losing. cody took a chance there and it ended up working. this time. he can't fall in love with that shyt.

True story. Only reason he could get that counter off was because Assuncao drew back on the hook, fukking up his timing so he hit him in the chest. Had he thrown that maybe as a short hook, he maybe catches him in the side or top of the head, and probably finishes.
