Santos did not win that fight. The only dominant round was by Jones.

Jones stuck to the game plan and controlled the fight. Out landed Santos in significant strikes and kicks. Jones would be stupid to try and get into trading blows with Santos which is why he stuck to attacking the legs and body. Santos had his spurts here and there, but not enough to say he beat the champ.

If Santos' knee didn't keep giving out he would've likely got the nod - that really limited his mobility and during those stumbles is when Jones got many of his significant strikes off.

silvas leg broke and he took more damage in his next few fights than he did in his entire career prior

tonight jon didn't throw a punch for a full minute against a guy who could only move in straight lines with a wind up

Silva got ktfo and was on his way to getting ktfo in the second fight too before the leg break. The reason he started taking more damage isn’t because he declined so rapidly but because he lost that untouchable aura and fighters started realizing that they can land on him and that he can be hurt. He was locking up during exchanges and doing that taunting shyt to draw attention away from that fact for 5 years before someone finally saw through it and had the balls to back him up and throw a couple of combinations at him.

The first round is the only round thiago out landed Jones and he did the most damage with his leg kicks, only round he won to me

Jones applied the pressure on him and beat him up like he does everything else, if Jones isn't blowing a guy out the water then he's losing, Thiago didn't come close to landing any of those bombs Rogan was talking about, he must be getting old

One jones checked one of those legs kicks it was over for Thiago they didn't have the power anymore, his knee was fukked because Jones fukks up everybodies knee he fights with those oblique kicks lmao

Thiago went into survival mode after the second round, it was just a typical jones fight after that
