That November card STILL does not have a Main Event.... That's ridiculous.
Woodley-Covington? Can Woodley get back in that quickly? He seemed interested in fighting on that card on the ESPN post fight show.
I've seen the rumor floating around that Jon Jones would return in November in MSG.. against GSP? AGAINST CORMIER?
I heard that too.
That said, I'm almost positive the November main event will be Cormier vs Brock
Not possible, Brock wouldn't be eligible under USADA by then.
UFC and MMA in general does a poor job marketing to Black folks, MMA culture and boxing culture are worlds apart.

^How exactly do you propose ufc market to "black folks" have rap playing in the promo trailer? They did that for 228
... The UFC has a very heavy internet presence if blacks havent realized who woodley is in the 3 years hes been champ then nothing will.. Personally i felt the way rashad/rampage (which was an obvious attempt to get diversity) was marketed was cringworthy but thats just me. I mean when marketing conor did we need to hear bagpipes? Or see celtic imagery? Nah they just gave him the platform to be his brash self while producing thrilling fights and the fans came. Woodley does not have the personality and can produce stinkers it is what it is. Hes not exactly waiting for the ufc to make him a star he does a lot of outside cage stuff champ camp, tmz, movies and music it hasnt raised his profile. Ufc dont have a magic wond, the fans need to show up first.
Remember jones was basically the last star the ufc made,dana would have never signed ronda or mcgregor if not for the insane fan demand

Cuz UFC appeals to the conservative redneck trump crowd usually . It's sad cuz some of the top competitions are AA and should've had more mainstream success.
It's a crime how criminally under rated Woodley is. Bruh got a good head on his shoulders and is cerebral bout the fight game. Yet Everytime they announce his fights or it's a promo it's about how "explosive" or "athletic" he is lol.
Same with JJ , cormier, or yoel. Dudes all should be superstars

isnt the onus also on AAs to show out? Cant remember what conor fight it was but it was in vegas and you had legit irish fans fly in just to support him. They took over to such an extent the arena sounded like a football match. AAs probably dont make the drive if a show is in a near by state because ticket prices or whatever. Like i said if there was a stronger presence of support ufc and em would follow the money but they arent about to search. Its been 12 years since silva and 7 years since JJ, if that hasnt led to more AAs showing up to events?
Woodley isn’t a boring fighter Styles make fights and wonder boy had boring fights after woodley and so has Maia they look good when they are beating others and imposing their will. He’s also smart and articulate . Dana white has defended performances from fighters like DC , spider , GSP . He just has a personal vendetta .
