I dont get MMA judging, get outstruck on the feet but get takedowns and do nothing with them and get the win. The only time he did anything on the ground was when he finished that round landing strikes from up top, the rest DJ either popped right back up or neutralized him.

That's always been an issue. Takedowns usually always override strikes unless the dude really took a beating. Shogun vs Machida 1 was just like this fight. Shogun was landing leg kicks all fight and they didn't count them. Machida was champ at the time but still, Shogun did a lot of damage with leg kicks but still lost.

Me neither. Only thing I can think of is the flyweights move so fast and the action is so quick, they aren't seeing all the shots DJ is landing. When it is clear to see somebody on top of their opponent and Cejudo took most of the shots well.

I agree for the most part but DJ and his team knew what it was He wasn't even breathing hard after the fight he had more to bring but he didn't/
