No I said I could care less about the 1st fight and am conflicted on (who I want to win in ) the WW title shot eliminator fight. The last or 1st 2 fights show shelby's poor matchmaking as Cejudo gains nothing if he beats Pettis especially in the boring fashion I think he will. And yair is not ready for Edgar just too soon, where does Edgar go exactly? He's just derailed the future for what? If he was going to be a star he would've and he's loss to aldo x2. The story from those fights hinges on them being upsets

I expect him to be headlining a prelim, his spot on the card should be Eddie and Poirier's

You need to have been "past tense" a stepping stone for a number 1 contender or a mid tier fighter to be seen as a gatekeeper, remind me again who has beat Edgar at bantamweight other than aldo?

They obviously want ratings which is why Eddie is on free tv. No one has beats Edgar which is why if Yair beats him he will be next to fight for the title. And stylistically he matches up with Edgar so why not?

Edgar is a technical striker (one of the best) while yair and his unorthodox(ness) leaves him vulnerable to attacks. His head movement and striking D is putrid this is stylistically in Edgar favour only thing yair has on him is youth

Yea but Yair is the tallest opponent Edgar has ever faced. His athletism and explosiveness will give Edgar problems. Plus Edgar is older and slower. Didn't look really good in the Stephens fight. I think Yair finishes him.
