That remains to be seen. 145 he's got it........ 155 still has monsters like Khabib, Dos Anjos Michael Johnson Tony Fergueson and you guessed it........Nate Diaz who would be a problem. I think he could take out Cerrone and possibly pettis which is still imo a dream match
no doubt, I'd like to see him stay at 155 for a bit and see what he can do.
Hes still a great fighter and very entertaining...he ain't going anywhere

That's why I respect the hell outta BJ Penn ............ guy won welterweight and lightweight championship and those divisions were stacked as hell

How? Did they not pocket everything as usual?
The UFC was looking to make UFC 200 into the biggest PPV the company had ever done with an undefeated McGregor being one of the major components of it and then they were banking on Rousey/Tate 2 being a major show for the fall.
Miesha Tate and Nate Diaz upended those plans majorly.

Conor wasn't undefeated

You must have meant Holm/Rousey.

Connor is still a champ. The narrative is already that he lost going up too far.

I'm not saying they never face setbacks but they are the promoter and they will position the next one the best way to cash out. The perceived losses aren't big enough for us to ever truly know a difference most of the time.

Didn't change much.......

McGregor losing is bad for UFC, but Dana can't be pissed at Tate winning at all. Now Ronda can come back and face someone she can beat, for the championship.

I wonder what Floyd had to say about this :mjlol:

"I mean umm, you know when it comes to McGregor, you know I'd just like to wish him nothing but the best... you know in combat sports you suffer setbacks and umm you just have to find a way to bounce back. I don't know what it feels like to be on the other side but you know you gotta take it on the chin and bounce back " :trollbron:

Ppl trying to say McGregor losing isn't a big deal?

Come on. Hes the face right now of ufc. They build these guys(and Ronda) up for 12-13 months as being the baddest new kid on the block, throw all their chips in, and then they lose.

That's bad for business. But it's the nature of the beast
