Could one of you break down, what happened technically, Conor was looking good and free, Diaz was connecting but what did each do that lead to the result.

McGregor put himself in a bad situation for no reason. He should've stuck with the strategy from round 1 and kept hitting those jabs, then just wait for the perfect timing.
Those jabs were hitting a lot of arms and air but only some of his face. Diaz got a chin for days and with no threat of a TD from his opponent he wasn't going to tire. Which was always going to end bad for McGregor whose style (lack of wrestling and deficiency on the ground) plays directly to their strengths. In many ways on paper this was no different to daley/diaz only thing different was Daley had more KO power and reach

I know there's a lot of technical stuff can say bout this fight, but the easiest breakdown is Connor was Uber aggressive took da fight to Diaz in 1st round and Diaz ate Connors hardest gully loaded left and ate it like a man. Didn't buckle didn't move back didn't seem hurt. Did hate bleed hellz yea, did names looked bruised yup he'll yey. But did nate every look hurt or stunned by Connor's hardest shots nope. And it seemed after Connor tagged his hardest shotsConnor jus kept tryin 2 throw bomb after bomb.

Meanwhile 2nd round nate came up finally got his distance down and got his 2piece wit fries working. That same right jab and str8 left he used vs Johnson and every1 else b4 and Connor cldnt take the power of a 170 guy. Connor was hurt it was obvious. Connor was hurting so bad he tried to take da fight 2 da ground and we all know happened once.

I luv that Nate got a convincing fights but I take nothing away from Connor. He showed respect after da fight, and really he jus proved to him he can't fight at 170 in ufc his power didn't translate, I will say his speed and movement was nice though. 155lb shld be a nice weight class for him.

this pretty much was a lw bout without the need for a weight cut.

nate just beat the guy who was getting the shot. Now is the time to make that fight
Nate got smoked by RDA 2 fights ago. Completely outclassed. Should do more to get a rematch then beat a FW. Khabib (22-0 with a win over RDA) and Ferguson (7 straight wins in the UFC) should be the next contender. Nate can get a big fight like Alvarez or Pettis but he shouldn't get a shot off of that
