I think the problem a lot of these CEOs have its that they have to straddle a fine line ........ whoever is in government they have to deal with and try and keep in their good graces for the interests of their companies .......

problem is if you are seen as being to close to one party or another there is going to be some blowback.....

These CEOs arent politically motivated, its all about self interest and what will benefit their shareholders
He should of been smart enough to stay out of it

This will have the same effect as Chik Fil-A a few years ago when people were up in arms about their stance on gay marriage.

This won't hurt Uber at all in the long run.
this is a lot bigger. Chik fil a's stance on gay marriage is just a corollary of their southern values that they've stood firm on their whole existence. and frankly nobody cares that chik fil a is anti-gay marriage, especially when much of their customer base holds the same views. chik fil a doesn't have a substitute like uber does with lyft

lol. Both companies are investing in autonomous cars to replace the same diverse community of drivers
I guess unemployment is not apart of the value that threatens such communities

They created a market for a side hustle :francis: . Ridesharing was never meant to be a legit long term job market. Everyone has known what you stated from the beginning. There is nothing to cry about.

What about donating to black causes. Why are refugees getting treatment over black people who died for this country and continue to be oppressed? fukks sake.
Because BP in mass don't stand up for our rights in a meaningful way. We're in a caste system were we are at the bottom. We ain't getting shyt unless we fight for it.
