U.S. Should Replace Dollar Bills With Coins, GAO Says

They have 1 pound and 2 pound coins in the UK. When I first came over here I always wanted to go to the strip club to see if they actually threw coins at strippers. Turns out you turn in your money at the door for monopoly money.

Don't know about that, but all that happens in the strip clubs I've been is, the strippers come through the crowd with a pint glass and you have to put pound coins in the glass.

If you try and put lower change in the glass, they scrutinise the fukk out of you

of course i use paypal, how's this google wallet you speak of work? I read up on it and i'm not sure everywhere I go uses that "technology" but it looks like a good idea.

I have it on my Nexus. I basically sign into the app that holds my debit info and just tap the back of my phone onto the payment device. Most places I go allows it but not all.

i used to do that with my mastercard but after all that scare about rfid stealing and such i decided i could bare the extra two seconds of actually swiping the card...

NFC though, that's news to me and i'm reading up on it now...sometimes technology drops and i never know

well there's various reasons people still use cash

I know a lot of people like it cause it's easy to keep track of. if you got $20 in your pocket, you can only spend $20

You'd be surprised how many places are either cash only or have minimums for using cards.
