Junk mail has kept them afloat for the last few years. Amazon has been moving away from them which i assume is a big contract.

However there are parts of the country that are too rural (i.e. not economical) for private companies. This is where the PO comes in.

Pre-funding 75 years of pension isn't financially viable for 99% of pension providers. It doesn't even make sense.

If that was made law, most entities would just eliminate them altogether.

This was specifically created for failure.
