Honestly pointless dude is old as fukk and Al Qaeda have been irrelevant since 2012. It might even provoke some of these sleeper cells in Europe and the US. The killing of Abu Baker al baghdadi the leader of ISIL, then his 2nd in command and Jihad John was far more significant.

Ideally it should have happened in a similar time period to Bin Laden.

Al Qaeda is like that one black drug dealer the police keep putting in front of the camera to show scared white people in a town that's 97% white that they are cleaning up the streets while little Gunther is in his room learning how to make a pipe bomb but his parents say its cool cause he studying to be a chemist.

it's pointless even tho he was instrumental in killing over 3000 americans :bryan: that alone is worth eternal murder beef

Dude was old as fukk and not actually coordinating Al Qaeda well he was probably going to naturally kick the bucket in a few years. When was the last time you heard about an Al Qaeda attack on American or European soil? it’s all been ISIS some new younger more tech savy more radical even more extreme jihadi is going to take his place. A power vacuum always creates more insecurity

Exactly Domestic Terrorists, Kremlin Spies and ISIL pose far more of a threat to national security right now.

He definitely deserved it

I just think it wasn’t all that useful and might just inspire more lone wolf attacks in retaliation.

If this had been achieved before the Iraq War we’d have a reason to rejoice.
