"Heaterz," "Triumph," "It's Yourz," "A Better Tomorrow," "Severe Punishment" ... fukk it, even "Black Shampoo"

His voice, his flow, his random abstract lyrics ... it all just fit so perfectly

:wow:

Wu-Tang Forever has become extremely underrated, and the Wu as a whole have become extremely underrated. Their so-called "wack" or "third tier" members contributed so much quality material

Agreed he definitely leveled up. In hindsight tho...that shyt is so frustrating because that album SHOULD have launched the second wave of Wu dominance. Rae was rapping better than virtually everyone on the planet, GZA was on fire, U-God was spitting, Masta Killa was unstoppable....yet none of them got a great project from RZA in the immediate aftermath. If Rae had dropped some shyt over whatever the remaining beats were instead of Immobilarity it would completely change how he's viewed. Another classic GZA album could have happened. Masta Killa could have finally gotten his classic after the flood. Instead we got some Bobby Digital fukkery and shyt was looking weak for the Wu until Ghost saved the day.

It's in part b/c RZA was getting more points for less work to push out those Wu-Afflilates albums. Instead of having to manage all OG's personalities he opted for the easy money, throw 2-3 beats on the project and make more than he would producing the entire Rae album. The OG Wu members were getting tired of the affiliates projects getting prioritized, so they started do their own thing instead of waiting (much to their detriment).

Rae was still spitting heavily on Immobilarity, but most of the production is terrible. I've tried to like this album so many times but I just can't...had they figured out how to get RZA to give a handful of beats + Wu Elements it could've been a classic.

Tical 2000 is pretty good, just bloated with stupid skits and filler.

Don't even get me started on Uncontrolled Substances and what was robbed of us...

We did eventually get No Said Date and Made in Brooklyn.

It wasn't really money...it was more of the split w/ Wu members after they blew up the Forever tour. RZA said he was finally doing dolo & sticking w/ Ghost & fam & he left other projects w/ the Clan members to deal with themselves. Plus some like Rae were trying to set up their own thing anyway.

He honestly was top five on there and took like 15 years for me to realize it.

Raekwon
Inspektah deck
Ghostface
Gza
Ugod or rza

I can't even identify a Top 5 for Forever. All those guys you listed killed it, but what about Meth? Even Cappa was killing it on "For Heaven's Sake" and "Heaterz."

The only one who was worse on Forever than on 36 Chambers was ODB.
