Guess no one told him about the Tyson hotel incident :mjlol:

This was a BROOKLYN classic...

Those names :mjpls:

Short-fused Iron Mike Tyson was charged with assault after sending two men and a woman to the hospital in a bloody hotel brawl early yesterday.

“There was blood everywhere,” said a worker at the scene of the brawl, the Marriott Hotel in downtown Brooklyn. “Imagine that iron fist hitting your skin.”

The trouble began when three Philadelphia-area friends returned to the luxury hotel at around 5:30 a.m. after a night of partying, cops said. They spotted Tyson outside, reportedly leaving the hotel headed for Arizona to visit one of his four kids.

Hotel staff aren’t sure how the fight began, but some say the former heavyweight champ refused to give the trio an autograph. Witnesses blame the friends for hassling the boxer, teasing him about the elaborate tattoo around his eye.

According to cops, Samuel Velez, 31, of Reading, Pa., told Tyson his hands might be fast, but not speedier than a bullet. Then he reached into his waistband like he was going for a gun, police said.

Cops later discovered an outstanding warrant against Velez for failing to appear in court on a 2001 drug charge. He also had been arrested for kidnapping in Brooklyn in 1991, but it was not immediately clear how that charge was resolved.

Tyson followed them inside and attacked Velez, according to one police account, knocking him out.

Velez’s female companion, Thamara Ocasio, 27, jumped on Tyson, cops said, but the boxer flung her away.

Then Velez’s friend, Nestor Alvarez, 24, came at Tyson with a metal stanchion, cops said. But Tyson knocked it out of his hand. Alvarez ran behind the front desk, and Tyson jumped over the desk and began throwing punches.

A hotel video camera captured the action, and police planned to review the tapes.

Cops arrived and immediately handcuffed the bad-boy boxer, taking him to the 84th Precinct station house for questioning. His hand needed bandaging.

As word spread of his arrest, more than a dozen fans gathered in front of the station house.

Released on a desk-appearance ticket for third-degree assault, Tyson stalked past them and into a waiting SUV without comment. He is unlikely to face jail time.

The boxer’s adviser, Shelly Finkel, also had no comment on the incident. “I don’t know anything except what I heard this morning. I’m in the process of trying to find out,” he said.

The three friends were treated at area hospitals. Alvarez and Velez were charged with menacing and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors, and remained in custody early last night.

Customers at the hotel bar said Ocasio’s brother passed around pictures of his sister with a bruised eye and bloody arm.

“We just hit the lottery,” he reportedly crowed, bragging the family would sue Tyson.
