glad im not the only one that feels that way about his beats. man theyre so horrible i just dont get it. its all off melody. the cords are there, but then all the other sounds dont bounce off them, music theory just goes right out the window.

with that being said, hes creative and i do like Odd future. Theyre from my city and I support them. but god damn them beats be off notes lol

Album is on some 2019 N.E.R.D. shyt and the perfect way to follow up Flower Boy. Tracks blend seamlessly and you get a great balance of the electronic shyt with the live drums. shyt feels like the space Tame Impala is in right now minus the rapping.

It's funny you mention N*E*R*D because I was just thinking this upon listening now. This is really the level of production I was expecting from their latest album. A few gems here and there, but I'm still overall disappointed with that drop.

Tyler out here providing the reparations though.

I'm also looking forward to the impact this album will have on new-gen hip hop/R&B like Flower Boy did.
