Not for me:

- 3 or 4 total verses on THE WHOLE ALBUM
- no OF features (where's EarlWolf, God dammit)
- Barely sounds Hip-Hop

I respect his ability and his growth, but if you're going to not rap, and do "alternative" shyt, put it out under an alias or some shyt. This was damn near an instrumental album. If I bought this after fukking with his first 3 albums(), I'd be mad as fukk. Never listening to this again.

IIRC, he said some vague shyt, but not exactly that. He's been veering off that way, so I wasn't shocked, I just want some hard beats and bars. Again, it's cool for what it is, it's just not for me.

The Growth of this kid has been insane. I thought Flowerboy was one of he best albums of the year but he's continuing to grow. It's clear he has a lot influence from Pharell but fukk it, if you're gonna use him as a template nothing wrong with that. Dude is a true producer at this point and he's put out another great listen.
