I am in no way a Tyler Perry fan. I actually go out of my way to avoid his movies and shows

My girl said she wanted to watch it and I had no idea it was his film. I am a huge sucker for history/war movies. I am sad to say I did not know about this true story so I was hella interested. It was actually done pretty good and the acting was great.

same here. i threw it on my watch list. i watched the entire Friday The Animated Series in one sitting so i have no room to talk shyt about the 'quality' of tyler perrys films

It's what's needed out here. Say what you want about P (master p) they had albums out, they had videos. They definitely weren't the most polished, but they didn't have to go running to some white man and talk about being shelved and pushed back and shyt.

Everytime one of his shows or movies drop I smile. I don't watch, but I smile cause that money is going into his pockets. It might not be shyt, but it's his. And if it was up to them he would've had to beg and give up 75%.

We need more hustlers. More people that love the game.

If this movie is good or even decent, the script took longer than two weeks to write. Is there heavy military and government jargon in this? If so was Tyler Perry ever in the military? If not you have to bring a specialist on board just like how hospital shows will have an actual doctor that's part of the writing team. Not to mention the research and studying needed to do a historical piece.
