I'm a core Millennial (86 to 92). Avril was pretty popular for white kids when I was in high school. I barely listened to her outside of her music videos playing on MTV when I used to get dressed in the morning for school. But she always gave off the "cacs only" vibe So yea, I'm generally surprised.
