I barely listened to her outside of her music videos playing on MTV when I used to get dressed in the morning for school. But she always gave off the "cacs only" vibe So yea, I'm generally surprised. I kind of agree with you. I was born in this era and yea the Jojo types like us but I think every subgenre of white girl liked us depending on the girl. I mean the different types like suicide girls, preppy, country, and nerdy.

I think it's because of the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Media choices where more limited than they are today. This means some of those girls watched shows like My Cousin Skeeter, Famous Jett Jackson, All That, and Keenan & Kel. My experience is some of the ones that like me say I look like one of the black guys from those shows. At first I thought they were calling me corny then I realized that's their only reference for black guys their age that they're attracted to.
